This is an animation of a New York City Subway train made of up R-36s also known as “Redbirds”. I brought the model on Turbosquid. I had to color it, at logos and car numbers, destination signs and “fix” components of it so that doors would open and the light fixtures inside each car would actually emit light and light the interiors. I used Carrara 8 Pro to create the station and render the animation using 5 quad core I5 based PCs. I wanted to see if Carrara could actually “do it”. The file got so big it became unmanageable! This clip is 27 seconds long and includes perfectly matching sound I found on the internet.
